I have been passionate about music since my teenage years, particularly dance and trance. Back then, I used to put together dozens of cassette tapes—a bit like a DJ. When I was still living with my parents, I had a rather eccentric neighbor; she was a bit wacky and used to make me laugh a lot. One day, I had the idea of ​​composing a humorous song at her expense. Despite my computer’s limited capabilities, I managed to pull it off; it was my first success in music production.

Over the years, I experimented with various music production software, the most notable being Music Maker. In 2018, I produced my first album (an EP), followed a few years later by two full-length albums which you can find on YouTube. I created them using Ibiza eJay, Music Maker and Samplitude.

Nowadays, I feel the need to create more personal tracks and songs, so I turned to professional software like Cubase and Ableton Live. These programs are incredibly powerful but difficult to use. I spent countless hours learning how to use them (and studying music theory for electronic musicians too!).

I have been working on my fourth album for some time now. Today, I’m sharing a short excerpt from a song in progress created with Cubase and a MIDI keyboard. It’s called Twenty Years and it’s about a missed romantic connection from back when I used to go ice skating every Sunday. This song isn’t finished—the sound levels are poorly balanced—but it will give you a rough idea of ​​what I’m capable of.
